Finding Our Perfect Wes Anderson Playground

The magic started with location scouting around Shanghai. We needed spots that screamed symmetry and vintage charm – the kind of places that would make Wes himself proud. Our adventure took us through old Shanghai’s charming streets, where colonial architecture provided those perfectly balanced frames Anderson is famous for.

The real gem? A cozy library café tucked away in the former French Concession. With its pastel walls, vintage furniture, and symmetrical bookshelves, it was like stepping onto a movie set. We also explored Fuxing park and a small local restaurant where colors and geometry gave us those satisfying compositions.

Nailing the Look

Alice and Stephen nailed the wardrobe – casual but carefully considered outfits in soft pastels that complemented both each other and our chosen locations. Nothing too matchy-matchy, but everything working well together.
