Connie and Jason, who both live and work in busy Shanghai, decided to go with small destination wedding for their closest family and friends. Having previously visited Lijiang, they were enchanted with its serenity and found the town to be the perfect spot for their Big Day.

Banyan Tree luxury resort turned out to be the right venue to host their wedding. With its beautiful views over Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and stunning oriental architecture it was an obvious choice. The outdoor ceremony was held under pagoda and the banquet on the patio by the pond. Add to it performances by Naxi ethnic minority group and brilliant idea for the seating chart in the form of look-alike figurines, and you have the recipe for the perfect wedding.
